Although the beggars home is pretty old, so far there has been a very serious lack of maintenence of records of past inmates. Only recently (Sep '10) did they start a computerised mechanism along with photos of the inmates. Whatever records that are there have no photos attached with them causing a lot of confusion as to who is who. Adding to the problem is that since most inmates are mentally unsound, they randomly change their own names from time to time. 4 out of 8 inmates that were interviewed were in detention for the second time. |
